Gabriele Baldocci


Gabriele Baldocci was born in Livorno (Italy) in 1980. He started studying piano at the age of six, with Ilio Barontini and he received his piano Diploma with the highest ranking. From 1995 to 1999 he studied in the Accademia Pianistica Incontri con il Maestro in Imola with Franco Scala and Leonid Margarius. In 1999 he became a student of Paul Badura-Skoda and at the same time he was invited to the prestigious International Piano Academy in Lake Como. During the next five years he had the opportunity to perform for the most outstanding teachers in the world, such as Lcon Fleisher, Alicia De Larrocha, Dmitri Bashkirov, Fou Ts'Ong, Charles Rosen, Andreas Staier, Claude Frank. During those years, he was studying piano in the studio of William Grant Naboré, the artistic director of the school. In 2008 he completed his studies with Sergio Perticaroli, obtaining his Doctorate in Piano Performance at the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia in Rome with the highest ranking.

Martina Filjak


Martina Filjak was born in Zagreb and raised in a family of pianists. She completed her musical education in the Music Academy of Zagreb and the Vienna Conservatory. In 2001 her studies took her to the Netherlands and Germany (the cities of Rotterdam and Karlsruhe).
In search for further artistic development she took part in masterclasses (Moscow, Salzburg, New York) and regularly maintains contact with renowned artists as Cyprien Katsaris, Stephen Kovacevich, Jean Bernard Pommier. Currently she is pursuing her studies at the Soloist Class of the Hochschule fur Musik und Theater in Hanover with Prof. Mi Kyung Kim.

Krzysztof Jabłoński


Krzysztof Jabłoński was born in 1965 in Wroclaw, Poland. He started piano lessons at age six with Professor Janina Butor. Under her guidance he won many prizes at piano competitions in Poland and performed his first concert with an orchestra at the age of 12. As the youngest competitor at age of 15, he placed fifth at the Milan Piano Competition, "Premio Dino Ciani". Chairman of the Jury Nikita Magaloff then invited Mr. Jabłoński to attend his Master Classes in Geneva, Switzerland. Between 1983 and 1986 he studied under the guidance of Professor Andrzej Jasiński at the Academy of Music in Katowice, Poland. He graduated with honors in 1987, and in 1996 he earned his Ph. D.

Kevin Kenner

So the words of one amongst a veritable army of critics whose praise pitches Kenner as one of the giants of the pianistic world. Kevin Kenner was the winner in 1990 of the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw and of the Bronze Medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow. He records regularly for the BBC in England, where he now lives. At the age of 17, American pianist Kevin Kenner participated in the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw and was awarded the 10th prize and a special prize from the jury for his promising talent.

Alexander Kobrin


Since receiving the prestigious Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Gold Medal at the Twelfth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June 2005, Kobrin solidified his reputation as a rising star to remember, with an outstanding first tour of the United States, including recitals at Bass Hall for the Cliburn Series and for the Washington Performing Arts Society, followed by further debuts at La Roque d'Antheron, Ravinia Festival, Beethoven Easter Festival, Hannover Prize winners Series, Turner Sims and at the renowned Klavier-Festival Ruhr.
Alex Kobrin's debut with the New York Philharmonic at both the Avery Fisher Hall and for the inaugural concert of the Bethel Woods Arts Centre was hugely successful. Alex Kobrin was also invited to open concert seasons for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.

Michał Nesterowicz


Michał Nesterowicz - the Artistic Director of the National Symphony Orchestra in Chile. In 2004, at the age of nearly thirty, he was appointed to the post of the Artistic Director of Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra in Gdańsk, becoming the youngest director of Philharmony in Poland.
In June 2008 he won the 9th International Conducting Competition of Cadaques Concurso Internacional de Direccion de la Orquesta de Cadaques in Spain. In 1999 he was a laureate of the 6th Grzegorz Fitelberg International Conducting Competition in Katowice and simultaneously won the award of the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra for the best Polish conductor. Two years earlier, he was placed second in Polish Young Conductor's Competition in Białystok.

Orkiestra Akademii Beethovenowskiej


Poland's youngest professional symphonic orchestra, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra is composed of people of passion: the best students and graduates of European academies of music including Kraków Academy of Music, Staatliche Hochschule Für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart, Hochschule für Musik in Karlsruhe, Royal Music Conservatoire in Brussels, Conservatoire International de Musique in Paris, and Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst in Graz.
The ensemble began its operation in 2003, following the successes at the 53rd Jünger Künstler Festival in Bayreuth. In 2005, thanks to Elżbieta Penderecka, Beethoven Academy Orchestra had their début during the 9th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival in Warsaw, where they won fantastic reviews and obtained invitations to numerous prestigious festivals in Poland and abroad.

Aimo Pagin


Born in 1983 Aimo Pagin, devoted himself to his passion - piano. He started his musical education at age of 7, at the Conservatoire of Strasbourg with F. Claustre, and then at the Conservatoire of Colmar with Rena Shereshevskaya, where he finished his studies, receiving unanimously the diploma for piano, music theory and chamber music. In 2001 he was accepted to study at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Musique in Geneva, with Dominique Merlet, ending with the highest distinction - the Diplôme de Soliste. His longing for musical knowledge brought him to the United States where he was accepted as a student of world famous pianist and pedagogue Leon Fleisher.
Aimo Pagin is a prizewinner of numerous prestigious piano competitions. At age 14 he won the first prize at the Concours Musical de France in Paris. He is a prizewinner of the International George Enescu Piano Competition in 2005, and the Valsesia Musica in Milano in 2006, the first prize at the Premio Pianistico Pausylipon in Napoli in 2006 with outstanding acclaim, and made with this occasion his debut on national Italian TV (RAI). In November 2007 he won the Second Prize at the Ferrol International Piano Competition (Spain) and in August 2008 the Second Prize at the Jacopo Linussio International Piano Competition in Tolmezzo (Italy).

Marcel  Štefko


  Štefko graduated from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava under Marian Lapšanský. He is the prize holder of many international piano competitions such as B. Smetana in Hradec Králové, Czech Republic and the winner of the Competition of the Slovak Conservatories, the International Johann Nepomuk Hummel Piano Competition in Bratislava, Slovak Republic and Johannes Brahms International Competition in Pörtschach, Austria.
He attended the international master classes under the guidance of Lazar Berman and Eugen Indjic. In 1996, he gained the scholarship of the Slovak Music Fund and of The Banff Centre for Arts in Canada. In 1998-2000, he completed his post graduate studies with James Tocco at the Musikhochschule Lübeck in Germany as the holder of the prestigious scholarship of the DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst). Since 2003 he teaches at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Bratislava.

Piotr Tomasz Szczepanik


Polish pianist PIOTR TOMASZ SZCZEPANIK had his New York debut recital in February 2008 in Paul Hall at Lincoln Center. Acclaimed "Rare and inspiring Chopinist" by a famous music critic David Dubal, Mr. Szczepanik is a frequent guest in prestigious festivals in Poland and abroad, winner of national piano competitions. Mr. Szczepanik has toured his native country Poland and performed at major concert halls abroad such as Paul Hall in New York, Concert Hall in Shanghai, Hôtel des Invalides in Paris, and many others in Spain, Italy, U.S.A and China.
Mr. Szczepanik is an active ambassador of Polish music abroad. His concerts in Paris, New York and Shanghai presenting works of F. Chopin, K. Szymanowski and W. Lutosławski have always been well received. He was a co-organizer of the series of four recitals with music of K. Szymanowski hosted by the Ko¶ciuszko Foundation in New York. He is an author of the large project of a concert tour in southern China 2009 presenting works by F. Chopin, in collaboration with Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai.

Masataka Takada


Born in Kanagawa, Japan, MASATAKA TAKADA began playing the piano at the age of five. He has been a prizewinner at numerous international competitions including 3rd prize at the 2nd International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Wroclaw in Poland in 2002; 2nd prize winner at the 2nd Sendai International Piano Competition in Japan in 2004; 3rd prize at the Jaen International Piano Competition in Spain in 2005; 1st prize at the 2005 A.M.A. Calabria International Piano Competition in Italy; 2nd prize at the Maria Callas Grand Prix for pianist in Athens in 2006; 2nd prize at 5th International Franz Liszt Piano Competition in Weimar, Germany in 2006; 2nd prize and 3rd prize at 17th International Piano Competition 'Citta Di Cantu' in Italy in 2007; and 2nd prize of the Montreal International Music Competition 2008 in Canada.

Mariangela Vacatello


Born in Naples in 1982 from a musician's family, MARIANGELA VACATELLO began her musical studies at the age of four, then studied piano with Aldo Tramma in her native city and later moved to the "Incontri con il Maestro" International Piano Academy in Imola, where she studied thirteen years with F. Scala and with P. Rattalino and attained her Master Diploma in 2006.
At the Milan Conservatory of Music she attained her Piano Degree in 1999 and Master Degree in 2006 under the guidance of R. Risaliti and P. Bordoni. She also studied Composition with B. Zanolini and F. Vacchi and post-graduate piano with D. Merlet in Paris. She is currently attending the post-graduate Performance Course with Prof. Christopher Elton.
