Beata Bilińska


Beata Bilińska was born in Kraków. She belongs to the leading Polish pianists. In 1996 she graduated with distinction from the Karol Szymanowski Music Academy in Katowice in the class of Professor Andrzej Jasiński. Upon graduation, she joined the Academy's faculty. She worked for six years as Professor Jasiński's assistant becoming an associate professor.
She also developed her skills with Professor Klaus Hellwig in Berlin's Hochschule der Kunste and at master classes given by such eminent pianists as Lee Kum Sing and John Perry. She also obtained artistic advice from Krystian Zimerman.
Foreign tours have taken her to Austria, Argentina, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Norway, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, and the USA. She has performed at many prestigious festivals in Poland and abroad, including International Chopin Festival in Duszniki Zdrój, The Festival of Polish Piano Music in Słupsk (both three times), The International Chopin Forum in Wrocław, Internationale Preistrager - Junge Meister Interpreten in Landshut (Germany), the Festiwal du Vigan in Paris and 21st Festival "Chopin a Paris". She has given recitals and appeared as a soloist in symphonic concerts in most of Poland's philharmonic hall. She has held numerous grants, including those from the Frederic Chopin Society in Warsaw and the Ministry of Culture and Art.

Sofya Gulyak


In September 2009 Sofya Gulyak was awarded the 1st prize and the Princess Mary Gold Medal at the Sixteenth Leeds International Piano Competition - the first woman who has achieved this distinction in the history of this competition. Sofya Gulyak's resume includes prizes at many prestigious piano competitions: she is a 1st prize winner of William Kapell International piano competition in USA, Maj Lind Helsinki International piano competition, Tivoli piano competition in Copenhagen, Gyeongnam International piano competition in South Corea, San Marino piano competition, 2nd prize winner (first not awarded) of Busoni competition in Italy and 3rd prize winner of Marguerite Long piano competition in Paris. Sofya Gulyak is a native of Kazan (Russia) where she studied in a Special Music College, and then in Kazan State Conservatoire under professor Elfiya Burnasheva. Ms. Gulyak graduated also from "Ecole Normale de music de Paris Alfred Cortot" with the highest distinction. After she continued her studying in Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestri" (Imola, Italy) with Boris Petrushansky and in Royal College of Music with Vanessa Latarche.

Claire Huangci


Born in Rochester, New York, 20 year old pianist Claire Huangci astonishes all who hear her perform. Coming from a family of scientists, Claire received a grand piano for her 6th year birthday present. After exploring the instrument herself in the first year, she started taking lessons when she was 7. In the same year, she was featured on FOX news as a child prodigy with "the skills of a professional pianist." During her studies, Claire was awarded with a number of scholarships and won many competitions, including the Grand Prize at 1999 World Piano Competition. As a result, she performed in the gala concert with the World Festival Orchestra in Cincinnati Ohio and in a winner's concert at Carnegie Hall. Continuing her studies at the Curtis Institute of Music, she went on to win the Philadelphia Orchestra Competition and performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Wolfgang Sawallisch, one of dozens of American orchestras she has appeared with. In April 2006, Claire won the first prize in the 57th Kosciuszko Chopin International Piano Competition in New York City. She then performed in numerous solo recitals and concerto appearances throughout the USA. The 2006 Hamamatsu International Piano Competition introduced Claire to the Japanese audiences; she was awarded the Diploma of Outstanding Merit and was the favorite for many spectators.

Alexander Kobrin


Since receiving the prestigious Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Gold Medal at the Twelfth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in June 2005, Kobrin solidified his reputation as a rising star to remember, with an outstanding first tour of the United States, including recitals at Bass Hall for the Cliburn Series and for the Washington Performing Arts Society, followed by further debuts at La Roque d'Antheron, Ravinia Festival, Beethoven Easter Festival, Hannover Prize winners Series, Turner Sims and at the renowned Klavier-Festival Ruhr. Alex Kobrin's debut with the New York Philharmonic at both the Avery Fisher Hall and for the inaugural concert of the Bethel Woods Arts Centre was hugely successful. Alex Kobrin was also invited to open concert seasons for the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, BBC Proms and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. Nimrod David Pfeffer


Israeli pianist Nimrod David Pfeffer has been praised for his interpretations of Romantic repertoire, particularly of the music of Chopin, and, in his early twenties, is quickly gaining recognition as one of Israel's distinguished young classical pianists. He made his New York debut at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in May 2008, in a recital celebrating Israel's 60th Independence Day, and in September 2009 he returned in a Concert in Honor of Peace. He has appeared as soloist at the Russian Kremlin in a recital which was broadcast throughout Russia by "Kultura" television. Pfeffer has performed at Warsaw's Royal Lazienky Park, New York's Steinway Hall, Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Austria's Graz Congress Hall, Chopin's house in Zelazowa Wola, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, and the Mozart Festival in Malta. He has performed for King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan and other world leaders as pianist and conductor in the World Economic Forum in Jordan in 2007. He made his debut at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City in June 2010, in a performance of Beethoven's Triple Concerto with the ISO and guest soloists from the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.

Giuseppe Tavanti


Giuseppe Tavanti was born in Arezzo. He was initiated in musical studies by the italo-american pianist Renato Premezzi, who was one of the most prestigious students of Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli. Mr Tavanti graduated as a young student at the "Morlacchi" conservatory in Perugia, where he studied under the guidance of Orazio Frugoni. Afterwards he improved hisself at the "Accademia Chianigiana di Siena", where he was taught by Guido Agosti. Giuseppe Tavanti was awarded the 2nd prize of the "Coppa Pianisti d'Italia" in Osimo and other several prizes in national and international well-known musical reviews, as the special prize he was awarded in the international "F. Liszt" competition.

Alessandro Taverna


Alessandro Taverna was born in Caorle near Venice in 1983. He began his piano studies at the Music Academy of Santa Cecilia in Portogruaro with Laura Candiago Ferrari, graduating cum laude at the Conservatorio C. Pollini in Padua in 2001. He continued with Piero Rattalino at the Portogruaro Music School for Advanced Studies where he obtained his Final Diploma. He worked with Franco Scala and Leonid Margarius, and as well as attending classes of Louis Lortie and Boris Petrushansky at the International Piano Academy in Imola, where he received his Master Diploma in November 2008. In January 2009, Alessandro enrolled at the 'Santa Cecilia' National Music Academy in Rome to study with Sergio Perticaroli. Alongside his studies, he took part in various master classes, gaining valuable inspiration from his work with Dame Fanny Waterman, Joaquin Soriano, Zoltán Kocsis and Jacques Rouvier. Alessandro has won numerous awards in national and international competitions: among these, the "Alfredo Casella" special prize at the 19th edition of "Premio Venezia" (December 2002), the "Scriabin 2003" International Piano Competition in Grosseto, the International Piano Competition "Concerti in Villa 2006" of Vicenza.
